Ripple Eyes Major *Central Bank Approved* Rollout For XRP Usage

Ripple announced on August 17th, 2022 that they have officially launched Ripple’s XRP powered On-Demand Liquidity in Brazil with Travelex Bank, which is the first bank in the LATAM region to utilize ODL. Travelex is also the first bank in brazil to operate exclusively in foreign exchange which was approved by the Central Bank of Brazil.

A financial institution that has received central bank authorization from a country that receives $780B per year in payments annually is quite the utility ramp for the XRPL ecosystem.

XRP community researcher @sentosumosaba noted a video clip from June 2020 of Ripple’s Marjan Delatinne who seemed to have slipped up and revealed that XRP ODL would be going live soon in Brazil
